Grime is the culture of the streets. It's where the music comes from, the working class and below. It seems the media may not consider the genre stemmed from a black origin as important or as successful, shown through the lack of black artists shown in Music television awards such as 'The Brit Awards' and with less media coverage at 'The Mobo Awards', this is an issue for equality in the music industry. However, 'Mase' as a hardworking, versatile artist with a distinct sound continues to release music in the heart of this multi-cultural city, Cardiff.
